It was a football weekend here - lots of nap opportunities!
I was planning on telling you about Parker having to go to the VET today for her wellness check-up, but the VET called and cancelled the appointment and now she doesn't have to go 'till Thursday. None of us enjoy going to the VET, but Parker is a little strange, she doesn't seem to mind and actually flirts with the VET! What a strange gal she is! I'll let her tell you about it later this week. The 'rents had company over this weekend and they made VEGETARIAN lasagna! With spinach! Blech! Mommy made up for that disaster by cooking a roast on Sunday. And yes, we got some tastes of it so all was forgiven.Mommy also said that she is going to get us ready for Halloween. I wonder what she means by that...should I be worried?
Nothing wrong with NOT minding a trip to the vet!

ReplyDeleteIt does sound worrying that your mum is gettign ready for halloween. There's a lot of costume competitions going on at the moment. Be afraid, very afraid!
Well us cats are united in our dislike of going to the vet but Fenris thinks it is FUN. We thought it was just a dog thing but if Parker likes going to the vet we may have to rethink that. ~S,S,C & F
ReplyDeleteYour Mom goes all out for Halloween, so yeah, I think you might be part of the decorations! Very weird about Parker. I do not like to go to the vet, but once there, I behave nicely.

ReplyDeleteRudy, that's so nice that your person lets you take up most of the couch with your woofie sibling. I like to flirt with my vet too...I just hate the trip to and from his office...I think he should make house calls.

ReplyDeleteYou looks so comfy!!! And we had roast too!!! Our's was a venison roast that our dad actually got! It was really yummy and King was BUSTED! He jumped right up on the counter and was licking the cutting board! He hardly ever does that, so you can tell is was DE~LISH! Hope you have a super day!

ReplyDeleteParker is very lucky to enjoy going to the vets. It is a terrible ordeal for me.
Our kitties go to the vets in pairs or groups so they don't feel as freaked about it.
ReplyDeleteLasagna is all in the cheese!! Just eat around the veggies if you must (leave them for the dog).
Yup...be very scared...I think clothes are involved...unless, of course, you like that sort of thing.
