Well kitties, if you read yesterday's post about Puff and her resistance to getting her mat cut out, this is the after photo. All combed out, mat free and begging for some 'nip. She's shameless I tell you. None the worse for wear and not caring that she gave Mommy's hand a nice reminder about how sharp her claws are! And yes kitties, she got some 'nip. We all did.
No permanent harm to Mommy and all of us had quite the party! Mommy has to give a big ol' presentation to a lot of important beans on Wednesday. She'll be sporting a Hello kitty band-aide on her right hand. Hee-Hee! At least she has a sense of humor...

ReplyDeleteOur Mom always has some scratches from one of us on her. She says that just as her clothes aren't complete without some cat hair, she doesn't feel complete with out a kitty scratch or two.

Your mom has a good sense of humor to give everyone catnip despite the booboo on her paw...and cute that she'll wear a Hello Kitty bandaid for her big presentation...she must've gotten the idea from you, Parker, with the bandaid on your nosey...if you've got a booboo, might as well flaunt it, not hide it with "flesh" colored bandaids.

Puff earned her nip! Mat cutting is quite traumatic for some kitties. We think it is the sound of the scissors cutting that freaks them out.

ReplyDeleteI like your mommy's sense of humore with the bandaids! My mom uses "Hello Kitty" bandaids also whenever Tommy or Hope scratches (I should say slashes) her with their claws. I never hit mom...I'm the good one ;)

Puff, us floofy kitties have it rough when the mats come. I'm glad they are all gone and you look beautiful. I hope your mom's hand heals quickly. I gave my mom a little scritch when she was removing one of my mats last week.
