While the sun never made an appearance, it was still quite warm and we took full advantage of the warm breezes blowing across our deck.
It was the perfect kind of weather to give yourself some face skritchies on the brick. Heaven, I tell you, just heaven! (see me smiling?)
Daddy dug a garden, Puff and Parker got furminated and Mommy said "Achoo" a lot. There was Stinky Goodness on Sunday and some little tastes of Chicken on Saturday. Mommy said she was not going to try and Furminate me because she says I have a big surprise coming on Wednesday. I wonder what the surprise is?Parker: HaHaHaHaHaHa, Rudy's going to the GROOMER on Wednesday!
Rudy: WHAT!?! NOOOOOO!!!
Parker: That's right you floofy, orange-matted menace - You are Groomer bound - HAHAHAHA!
Rudy: I...I...I...I'm signing off for now!
if the groomer is like the beauty shop it's pretty fun! honest!

ReplyDeleteI've never been to the groomer, but I know it can seem scary. But, you'll feel so good after it's all over! It must be hard having to take care of such beautiful, thick fur. I'm lucky that I have a crew cut.

Meowmy ordered a furminator 'cause Fuzzy's starting to get mats...it's that time of year, he's shedding his thick coat of underfuzzies and they get all tangled up in the top coat. Hope you don't mind the trip to the groomer too much...Meowmy took Fuzzy once 'cause he got very badly matted (he stopped grooming himself when she went away for a week shortly after he came to live with us) and she took him to the groomer at the vet place in case they needed to sedate him, but he loved it! And afterwards, he felt like plush velvet!

ReplyDeleteI've never been to the groomer, one of the families I went home with for a bit shaved me on their own, its not even grown back right the whole way yet even months later. I think you're lucky to be going to professionals!
