Photo Hunters - Aftermath

I've been in two very big storms in my life. The first photo was after a very awful ice storm in Kansas City. We had no power for a week. It was very cold.
This was a windstorm last Spring.
Roy was smart to wear a hat - you never know what might fall and hit you on your noggin!

Happy Saturday kitties - we're all watchin' the big snow in O Hi O today!

  2. We are glad Roy was sensible and wore his hat. You can't afford to take chances in storms.

  4. We are glad that Roy had his safety gear. It would be no good to be conked on the head when you're not wearing a helmet!

  5. We wouldn't want to lose power for a week!

And the big snow is here in Meechigan...we got about 3-4 inches on the ground and it's still snowing!

  6. Storms are skeery. We lost power for 9 days after Hurricane Frances.

  7. We do not like storms they make big messes. Hurricane Katrina made a huge mess and the beans still haven't gotten it all fixed. ~S,S & C

  9. Oh, I hope you all are good after the ice storm! I am glad that Roy was so very smart with his hard hat.

  10. Ha! We love Roy's hard hat! After all the hurricanes we went through in Florida, we have a generator... just in case. We do not have a hard hat, though. hmmmm.

  14. I was laughing at Roy wearing that safety hat. Is the weather that bad that he need to do that? We are glad everyone is safe from the horrible storm. :)

  16. Storms are scary! This one is heading our way, and so far hardly nothing. I don't think it's going to be too bad here. (Crosses fingers). Snow is a 4 letter word.

  18. No power for a week? That sounds very terrible! A little over a year ago, we got a generator, because sometimes the power is off for a long time after a hurricane. Luckily, we have not had to use it yet.

  21. Hi Parker! I have enjoyed your site tremendously and am happy to learn you got through the storm. Very good photos of very bad weather - made me cringe, but I did know all along you were OK or you wouldn't have taken the time to post them.

  22. What a beautiful neighborhood you live in, Parker! I hope the snowstorm won't be too bad, and that your power doesn't go out. We are just getting rain here in Virginia, at least for the time being...makes Meowy sleepy and we get more cuddles!

  23. Oh, we don't like storms! Thank you for visiting our blog, Parker. We always like to make new friends.

Luckily, I haven't been through any bad storms.

  25. No storms like that here now. We did have a nasty hail storm a few years ago, 2 inch hailstones. Them are some noisy things bouncing off the roof.

  26. We hope you don't have any more aftermaths like those. It must be very scary to go thru icy and wind storms like that.

  27. I've been through some of those ice storms in Kansas where there's no power for a week. That is one awful, cold, dark aftermath! Hopefully you won't see any more aftermaths like that for many years to come.
