  13. that's awful about your tree! side question: did you actually get edible pears from that tree? i'm thinking of planting a pear tree in my yard...

p.s. i think toonces is innocent because he tended to drive off cliffs and not into trees.

  16. That is very bad news about your tree Parker. Maybe the one who knocked down your tree is the same one who dented the teenage boy bean's car! It was parked in front of our house and somebody runned into it and left a dent.

  22. OUCH...your poor tree! That is so sad..Mommy said trees have feelings too! Where we used to live, Mommy's son bought her a Bradford Pear for Easter and planted it in the front yard. After a couple months of care, it still had no leaves and looked like a dead stick. Finally Mom warned it that if it did not let her know it was alive, she was taking it out the next day. Mom's son called her out to the yard the next afternoon and lo and behold baby leaves were sprouting!!!! Just a couple months ago, Mom's other son drove by the old house and that pear tree is now HUGE...Mommy just smiled.....her sons witnessed that tree threat and love telling that story..... We don't even get real "cut" Christmas trees anymore...When ever our beans drive by the Holiday tree lots, Dad says...can you hear all the trees screaming...or he says, look at all those poor dead bodies! Now that's a scary Christmas...Halloween story, so Parker we sure know why you would be upset. BTW, Mommy says your house is so beautiful!=^Y^=The Cat Street Boyz

  25. I am so sorry to see you tree down like that. That is just awful. At first I thought there had been a bad storm. Thankfully your house did not get hit by the tree (or the car)!

  37. We started to make a comment then it got lost! Anyway, we are very sorry about your pretty tree. Mom at first thought that it came down in a storm because Bradford pears are weak and often split. Are you going to supervise the planting of a new one?

Something like this really brings home the importance of staying away from the street. There are a lot of crazy drivers out there.
