It is wonderful that your mom volunteers to help homeless kitties! It is a great thing to do. My mom hopes that when she is done with school she'll have time to volunteer again.

ReplyDeleteYour mommy is such a nice mommy to go and volunteer to help homeless kitties! My mommy wishes she had more time to help all of the furry babies out there that need love and happy homes. That is a neat picture! It looks like you are in a big ball . . . or a very colorful jail.
ReplyDeleteI think it's so nice of your Momma to do that. Momma said she did that for awhile but after working at the vet, she said she just can't do stuff like that any more 'cause it's way too upsetting.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, our mom would feel, um, what's da word...anyway, she still cleans and helps socialize kitties at da shelter when she doesn't have foster kittens. Mom's need to feel dey is doing something to help cuz dey is like dat, yup.
ReplyDeleteOur mom would like to do that kind of helping too, but she thinks all those cats might not be good for her allergies & asthma. She is used to us, so we don't bother her. But our guinea pigs make her itchy.

As kitties, we really do appreciate people like your Mommy who volunteer to help kitties who need it. Dante found our home because Aunt Susie's clinic volunteers to help all of the injured animals (kitties, puppies and even squirells, birds and bunnies!) that the county finds. We are grateful that they did because now we have Dante and he has us!
ReplyDeleteThose are some very excellent reasons! My Mommie is very excited because the no-kill cat shelter she volunteers at just opened their low-cost spay and neuter center. They are doing surgeries two days a week. It's very exciting!

Your mom is big-hearted and wonderful for volunteering at the shelter. We are sure she is making a big difference there.
ReplyDeleteOur mom would like to volunteer but she spends too many hours hunting and the rest of her time she takes care of us, dad, the teenage boy bean and our house.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the purrs, I'm home now. The V-E-T didn't find the feather, so we are assuming it passed "naturally" and maybe something that was on it gave me an upset tummy. But I came home with some yuccky medicine because of it!

What a great thing that your mom does, Parker! Our mommy would like to do something like that, too. Maybe our mommy will be inspired to finally do something since your mom is so motivated! We are former shelter kitties and we know how important it is to try and help every kitty (and woofie and bun) find their forever homes...
