What a beautiful balcony! I think the railing looks very pretty. You are going to have fun hanging out on your new balcony and looking at all of the pretty trees. And wooden stairs are perfect for the Thundering Herd of Elephants game!
Those railings are going to be fun to look down through...like vultures, over the heads of all the people. And I'll be those stairs have a bit of hollow sound to them, for louder thundering!

The thought of moving makes my mom and me shudder...but I'd almost consider moving again if the new place had stairs like that. Does your mom really look like the Simpsons movie star in the picture?

PLEASE come on over, my patio is a very calm spot and mommy plays nice music, like ENYA:) when she is out there with me. We can get her to fix us treats and keep the tea kettle going. I also know just where she keeps the catnip canister. She hides the nip in an old German coffee can because she thinks I can't read german ha ha! I CAN! CAN...get it... hee hee, I crack myself up sometime! WOW, I hope you have a great house warming party for us all when you settle into your new pad in O Hi O!
That balcony deck looks like the perfect replacement for your back porch. Nineteen steps to play Thundering Herd of Elephants sounds awesome. I'm sure you'll like your new home once you get used to it.
